Nightmare Jar
Use to cast Nightmares upon your enemy. The Nightmare Jar is enchanted and comes with instructions.
Quick answer: The Nightmare Jar is an enchanted spell jar for turning someone's harm back on their own sleep. It arrives ready to work, with Brenda's instructions included.
Looking for a jar to stop your OWN bad dreams? This isn't that one. For peaceful, protected sleep, choose our Protection Jar instead.
Some folks come to us after they've been lied about, crossed, or pushed around one too many times. This jar is for those moments, when you want the person who caused the hurt to carry a little of it home with them at night. Every working is personal, and results vary from person to person.
A jar spell is an old folk practice: the intention is sealed inside a vessel so it can keep working while you go on with your life. Treat yours with respect, keep it out of reach of others, and only work it when your heart is settled on why you're doing it.
How to use your Nightmare Jar
1. Read the instructions that come with your jar all the way through before you begin.
2. Pick a quiet time when you won't be interrupted, and set your intention clearly on the one person who wronged you.
3. Work the jar exactly as the instructions describe. Don't rush it.
4. Keep the jar somewhere private, dark and undisturbed while it works, and never near your own bed.
5. When you're done, cleanse yourself and your space (see below).
When to work it
The moon wanes from Tuesday, Oct 27 through Sunday, Nov 8, a traditional time for banishing, binding and sending things away. Samhain, Saturday Oct 31, when the veil is thin, is a favorite night for this kind of work. Any night you feel called is fine too.
Cleanse and protect yourself after
Baneful work deserves care afterward. Wash your hands, cleanse your space, and put up protection so nothing comes back your way. Many of our customers pair this jar with a Protection Jar or browse our protection spells. If you feel you're carrying something heavy, an Uncrossing or Breaking a Hex can help clear the air.
Want the spell cast for you instead of a jar? See Nightmares Upon My Enemy. If you'd rather simply return what was sent to you, try Send Back Evil.
Blessed Be 🕯️

What should I do after using it?
Follow the instructions that come with your jar, then cleanse yourself and your space and set up protection, such as a Protection Jar.
How long does the Nightmare Jar last?
