Cauldron Blessing
For protecting your home and warding off negative energy blessing the home.
What is the Cauldron Blessing candle?
Cauldron Blessing is Brenda's home protection candle for anyone who wants their household safe, calm and clear. Her way is simple: protect your family first, then clear the stagnant energy that has settled into your rooms. It's a gentle, hands-on blessing for renters, homeowners, new houses and busy family homes alike.
Cleanse first, protect second
Most Samhain house-cleansing traditions sweep out the old before sealing in the new. Cauldron Blessing does both in one walk: the flame lifts heavy, stuck energy as you move through each room, then your spoken words at the door set the boundary that keeps your home yours.
A simple Cauldron Blessing home ritual
1. Prepare. Open a window if you can, tidy a little, and set the candle in a fire-safe dish or holder.
2. Set your intention. Hold the dish, picture everyone under your roof, and name what you want: safety, peace, a clean slate.
3. Light the candle at the back of the house. Pause in the farthest room and breathe.
4. Walk from back to front. Move slowly room by room toward the front of the home, letting the flame pass corners, doorways and windows where energy feels stuck.
5. Finish at the front door. Stand facing out and speak a boundary line, such as: "Only love and peace may enter here. All else stays outside this door."
6. Let it burn. Place the candle in a safe spot and let it burn while you're home and awake.
When to do it
The waning moon, Oct 27 to Nov 8, is a natural window for clearing out what no longer belongs. Samhain night, Saturday Oct 31, is a powerful time to bless the home as the veil thins. Any Saturday (protection and boundaries) or Monday (home and family) works well too.
Renew it each Samhain
Many witches bless their homes once a year at Samhain, and again after a big change: a move, a breakup, a new baby, or a hard season. Make Cauldron Blessing your yearly ritual and start each witch's new year with a clean, guarded hearth.

Candle safety: never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from curtains, pets and children, and always burn it on a fire-safe surface.
